    What he said.

I actually won 2 season tickets for the season they got promoted to the football league, which was a bit of a result. It also beat paying £16 a game.

I'm hopfeul they'll go up again this year though I'm going to go and put the mockers on them on Saturday by turning up to watch them for the first time in months.
What have I learned, Mr Mackay? Three things. One - bide your time. Two - keep your nose clean. And three - don't let the *******s grind you down

Went to see my local team Crawley Town for about the first time in 4 years today. £17 to get in! I took my 6 year old nephew and it was a good day out. First half was a bit boring but second half went like so:

Forest Green get a man sent off.
5 minutes later Crawley get a man sent off.
5 minutes later Crawley's keeper Michel Kuipers gets sent off for apparently pushing over one of their players. Looked pathetic from where we were. Penalty given.
Replacement keeper saves the penalty and then smothers the rebound
He boots the ball up the pitch, putting Matthew Tubbs clean through, and he gets pulled down in the penalty area. Red card and pelanty!!
      Tubbs scores the penalty

So an eventful ten minutes or so. Finished up 1-0. Crawley have a player called Sergio Torres which greatly excited my nephew as our Fernando is his favourite player He was by far the best player on the pitch. Crawley are level at the top of the Conference on goal difference (so third currently).

Really enjoyed it might go again next Saturday, which is non league day (whatever exactly that is).

        Haha

Lower league football is a good day out, I've watched Chesterfield hundreds of times.

        £17 is a ****ing piss take ....it's £16 at Chesterfield I think, and they're League 2.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

£17 was for seating, it might be slightly less for standing I guess. But still a hell of a lot.

Wimbledon's new incarnation is right at the top of the Conf now, nailed on to get in to the league next season. My mate's a ST holder, has been since the club was founded a few years ago. I hate them as they've acted BBB through the non-leagues but still admire how they've progressed.

Meanwhile, Bromley FC are top of the Conf South now with 18 out of 18

                  Tubbs

Sounds like a pub team. Who takes penalties? Trigger? Or Smudger?

                    Tubbs is the penalty taker

And a pub team wouldn't have a player called Sergio Torres

Sergio Torres has been around the lower leagues for yonks. In fact I'm sure I posted a fake article once that we were gonna sign him.
