I'm starting to move away from the "one man team" bit and it seems to me that Ferguson is just capable of getting the best out of his players and utilize his star players to their maximum potential.

Last season, everyone worked for Ronaldo, including Rooney, which hindered his own game and production. Once Ronaldo left, Ferguson's built the team around Rooney and now he's being utilized to the max. The whiskey nose turns his star players into extremely efficient machines.

It's scary to think of what Ferguson would do with a player like Torres. I'm betting that he'd use him a lot better than Rafa.
