It would be an all-time low, utterly unthinkable.

A lap of honour is an acknowledgement of the fans support during the season, not the other way round. Independent on where we finish in the league, this has to be done.Originally posted by Imy View PostDo you think the team will do the normal lap of honour at the end of the season if we finish 7th or in fact anywhere outside the CL places?

It's just thanking the fans....lap of honour for them, teams laps of honour come after winning things.Originally posted by Imy View PostDo you think the team will do the normal lap of honour at the end of the season if we finish 7th or in fact anywhere outside the CL places?

A lap of thanks....ok yes...Honour..but it's the fans being honoured not the players.
This seasons will be to honour and apologise to the fans...WHO HAVE SUPPORTED the team all season....regardless.Last edited by Vermilion; 10-03-10, 11:38 AM.

I suppose thats a good way of thinking about it, currently i'd feeling like lamping some of them though

I really couldn't see how we could possibly get beat by Wigan but it happened so my confidence is seriously dented. I still have a little hope though as I don't think Spurs and Villa are all that. They will drop lots of points they always do. City are in a much much better position than us but they have a LOT of hard games coming up so I don't think its out of our hands just yet

I've completely ruled it out, it isn't going to happen. It's best if you prepare yourself for it now. In the time since we lost at Wigan I've been grieving, I'm doing it now. When it actually happens I'll be numb to it, I'll have done all my mourning. We don't have a prayer of finishing 4th, not a prayer.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

That's probably the best way, and i felt the same after wigan, but i'm now healing and i dont want that because the next comedown will be even harder.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI've completely ruled it out, it isn't going to happen.
