Is that definite Shanks? I wasnt really paying much attention to the first half

My bad then, i'll take back the abuse i gave Del Bosque.

Final whistle gone, Nando seems to be leaving the field in one piece. Hopefully he's come through fine.

Too small? What's that about? MO was always too small. Crazy ain't it? Although as you said, you found booze and women. Jackpot!

If Walcott goes to SA it should be for holiday purposes only.. clearly not good enough yet, if at all.

What is it with everyone comparing players to a young Gerrard? Have I missed a meeting or something?

I like Milner a lot though. Really good player, intelligent and creative and seems to always be looking to learn and improve.

I completely forgot this was on yesterday.

... not that I would have paid any attention anyway...

I'm going to go against the prevailing feeling and say I'm quite glad Capello has turned the team on the pitch into something better then the functional defensive unit Sven (and before him Hoddle) managed. I'm a lot more interested in how the team do now. If we could get rid of Terry then I could wholeheartedly get behind them now.

couldnt give a toss about england to be honest and this may sound bias but if england want to play well / win games / euro or world cup then they simply have to accomodate steveie g into a role whereby england play to his strengths.

the lampard / gerard / barry midfield doesnt work. they should play carrick and gerard in the middle of a 4 man midfield or lampard in his place and play ste off rooney.

last night seemed to me a bit congested in the midfield area with too many players wanting to play centrally. you'll never win the world cup unless capello changes his tactics to accomodate ste more i reckon.
