Mourinho reveals contract clause

Jose Mourinho says he is free to leave Inter Milan at any point during the next three years of his contract.


Mourinho has repeatedly been linked with top jobs outside Italy, and his reputation rose further this week after he helped Inter to a 3-1 aggregate victory over Chelsea in the Champions League.

The former Blues boss has fuelled speculation that he may come back to the Premier League in the summer by saying he "may coach another English team" and it now appears there is a chance he could leave the San Siro sooner rather than later.

"My future consists of doing my best until the end of the season then we'll see," he said in a rag. "My contract is simple. I've got another three years, with a clause that allows me to leave whenever I want."

Mourinho has had a difficult relationship with the media and a number of other coaches in Serie A.

Exactly. I think he'd certainly take the City job but given the choice I reckon he'd choose us - probably sees some 'unfinished' business from 2004 when we opted for Rafa instead.

I think Mourinho would like to come in and make us great again, win the League (sticking his fingers up at Abramovic & also Rafa who never won it for us).

Not sure if I want Rafa to go or not, but Mourinho would be my choice. I'd be very excited if we got him. Bit of a Bellamy in that you hate him as an opponent but would love him in your team.
