Another plus for Bent is that he doesn't seem to need to play every week to score unlike some other strikers which is good because obviously he would be back up to Nando.

He might be happy with that role if we where playing Champions League football.

He got messed around by Spurs quite a bit before he was let go and kept his mouth shut, sign of a good pro that.

I agree with all that

I recokon he would jump at the chance to play for us even if he was back-up to Torres.

Gomes gets a weak touch on the ball, collides with his own defender and tumbles to the ground, before Stoke finally fashion a tame shot, straight at the keeper who had got up and back in position.
