Amazes me that Wenger's never addressed that keeper situation. Almunia's complete turd.
I don't think he is complete turd. I do however think he is getting worse. He used to be good at shot stopping, decent concentration and average to woeful in the air. This season his concentration levels seem to be dipping. Before he at least consistently made the same mistakes - now he just seems to have the young David James skill of somehow making one innovative and costly mistake every match.
Wenger has done him no favours at times by generally playing a short defence in front of him.
I'd go as far as to say if Reina kept goal for them they'd piss the league this year. He'd be worth another 10 points to them.
It's probably true. The league has been poor this season and without the obvious defensive vulnerabilities Arsenal would have been best placed to exploit that with their style of play.

Bayern Munich coach Louis van Gaal could be without Arjen Robben for the Champions League quarter-final against Manchester United because of injury.
Winger Robben hurt his calf in Bayern's 2-1 defeat by VfB Stuttgart on Saturday, three days ahead of the first-leg tie against United in Munich.
"Maybe it will turn out not to be that bad but it looks very difficult for the United match," said Van Gaal.
Robben pulled up late in the game after coming on as a second-half substitute.
The Dutchman has been a key figure for Bayern since joining the club from Real Madrid in the summer and in midweek scored an extra-time winner against Schalke 04 in midweek to send Bayern through to the German Cup final.
Bayern are in the running for three titles, including the Bundesliga, and have a busy schedule in the coming two weeks.
The quarter-final second leg at Old Trafford is on Wednesday 7 April.

Blatant dive by Blackburn's Olsson to win a pen which is converted. Wonder what that **** Allardyce will have to say about that.
Olsson was clearly influenced by his being foreign. There is nothing that Big Sam can do about his foreigness, the game has just gone like that. If it was up to Sam he would have been kicking lumps out of the opposition like a proper English defender, not anywhere near the box to be fouled. He will however graciously accept the goal.

Brian Laws must rank up there as one of the worst and most obviously-doomed-to-failure appointments ever. He's won something like two of his last thirty games

I'm not sure he should really be judged on this seasons results to be honest. They clearly accepted they were likley to go down no matter what when they appointed him. The question will be how he does in the Championship next year.

At this rate and with the pressure Burnley fans are applying, I'm not sure he'll be around for us to find out.
