On the topic of Allardyce, I think we all thought he would 'let' Fergie have 3 points yesterday especially after seeing pictures of the 2 of them on a date at the races on thursday!!

I was quite shocked to see the final score! Dropped his flair players for a more defensive battling team and kept a clean sheet! Guess we were all wrong about the *******......

i watched the game - blackburn did their best for united but unfortunatley without rooney united are ****, so unless the blackburn players actually went and scored a few og's united had no chance

                From tribull 18/04/2010

Sam Allardyce fears the days of competing in Europe are over at Ewood Park.

Rovers have eased up to 11th spot this season and have lost just three times in 28 games at Ewood Park before today's visit of Everton.

But boss Allardyce declared: "I went to watch Aston Villa play in midweek and counted £100million worth of players.

"Liverpool have constantly spent in the £100m-plus areas. We are never going to compete at that level now.". We are never going to compete at that level now."
