I'd be the same if he ever became manager, it would be a right dilema. But then football fans by their very nature are completely fickle so I guess I'd have to begrudgingly support him. I prey it doesn't happen though.

here was i hoping for a sensible debate

i watched the game with a couple of barca fans, and at first they all shouted pen, but after seeing the replay we were all in agreement he dived(and don't get me wrong, i hardly ever watch spanish football so as far as i'm concerned alves has no reputation apart from being a good attacking fullback)

don't think sneijder even touched him, he went in silly but that's about it, like Mike said no change in direction from the foot, alves wanted to take advantage from the silly tackle but didn't do a good job at it.

the refs did make a hell of a lot of mistakes but this imo was not one of them.
