Thanjk you.

To be honest I thought he did well with his selection and tactics in the first game but I fail to see what credit he deserves for 'setting his team up perfectly' for this game. I'm sure there were toddlers who could have devised the cunning plan of 5 defenders, 2 defensive midfielders, two hard working forwards and a single creative midfielder.
He is a very good manager and anyone who doubts he is talented is clearly biased or mental. He does however play on some of the worst aspects of the modern game and would probably struggle to be as effective if referees were told to clamp down properly on cynical tactics - diving, time wasting etc.
You can say what you want about how defensive we have been at times in Europe but we have never behaved in the manner that Mourinho teams do as standard.
You have to respect him but I will never like him.
Exactly. Every line - exactly.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I personally dislike both teams, Barca are bad losers and cheats just like Inter are cheats and ungracious.
Can't argue with that but they cheated and timewasted from the first minute tonight. It's incredibly ugly.
The loss of Motta made a negligible difference. Nothing changed. They played the same way with ten men as they did with eleven. Had they had 15 men Mourinho would've employed the same tactics. Fair enougn, they had a lead and it gets him results. But they've gone through courtesy of a ridiculously disallowed goal.
Pique's goal, as brilliant as it was, was offside too.
Well Inter's 3rd last week was offside as well. So 1-0 would've been enough tonight. Either way, refereeing **** ups have got Inter through - whether it's last week or tonight.
And four minutes time added on was an absolute joke.

He does it again, with a vastly inferior team, and knocks out the best team in the world. He's done it too many times to be a fluke. He's just a superb manager who gets results on a regular basis. I dont like some of his characteristics and i'm not keen on feigning injury and diving, but Barca players do it too and so do ours sometimes. It's the ugly but inevitable part of modern football at the highest level - wait til the world cup, there'll be tonnes of it.
Ideally i'd love for football to be full of honesty and class, but it isnt and wont be. And i'm fed up of being the 'nice' losers who dont do whatever they can to tip things in their favour and get patronising pats on the back for being good losers. If everyone else did it 'nicely' then fine, but they dont, and they get away with not doing so. If you cant beat them (and clearly we cant), join them. I'm willing to take the negative aspects of it to win titles and taste glory. Every other ****ers are doing it, so **** it, let's do the same.
People say it's easy to send out a team defensively, to keep Barca at bay - but virtually every visiting team to the nou camp tries it, how often does it work? Inter are superbly well drilled, well disciplined and brilliantly organised. Chelsea were too. It's no coinicdence, Mourinho analyses his teams, he knows what they're capable of, knows what they cant do and knows exactly how to make them win. He knew they couldnt go to Barcelona and outplay the Catalans, so he did it the way it would work - and it did.

I'm as gutted as you are that Barca are out but I was more pissed off at Barca for not adapting to Inter parking the bus and doing something different other than pull out wide and cross the ball to no one. Again and again. Dani Alves especially was infuriating.
That made me hate Mourinho more than I did before.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
zlatan where the only threat barca had besides playing it on the ground, so I see no point in substituting him... Now they just have one more that can't take the physical battle with Inter...
well. yeah, if you're going to make the mistake of keeping hitting it in high, then you'd better keep him on
