You earn £400 a week for working at a cafe!

I was thinking the same!! Thats about £19k a year unless he meant $400 aus then its about £11k

Anyway, I though Green would be on more than £30k especially with Boa morte and Dyer on 70k a week, I'm sure his agent will be banging on Sullivan and Golds door this summer

I understand supply and demand etc, but how any of those players is good enough to earn £10,000 per day is beyond me.

I mean, just read it out loud. £10,000 every day of the year.
              Oh I don't know.

Okay it's small fry in PL footballers terms (about £5k & £3k per week respectively) but in the real world they're both huge salaries.

                They'll probably never play either

                  Dyer on 70000 is hilarious!

****ing sickening really! - One weeks wages from one of the reserve keepers would ****ing sort my life out. - a few grand too clear a load of debt, leave me with a bit of cash to spend on a holiday or something and no money worries each month. A month's wages and I'd be ****ing laughing, clear debt, put £10k in savings, then go travelling for a year. Come back to same job, with no debt and nice savings account. ****ing lovely.

Depressing isn't it. Even if they aren't good enough to make it, a 5yr contract would net them £750k to £1.25m, they probably never play a game and by their mid-twenties they're set up for life.

aye and the life of riley too. - as well as a nice wage - it's a ****ing great job too.

Basically get paid to be fit and healthy, and turn up to work for a few hours each day to play football with your mates, exercise, eat nice healthy foods, then **** off for the rest of the day to do what the **** you want with your money.

"hmm - what's everyone doing after training.....i might go and buy a new 90" tv as I've got no batteries for the remote for the 72" - and have a pro-evo tournement back at my pad....when we have finished, we can go out and shag a few fit wannabe wags"

"would love to mate, but i'm test driving a new porsche today"

Dyer has got to be the luckiest and unluckiest player of his generation.

God given footballing talent but unable to stay fit. Earned on average 60k per week for the last decade or so but never averaged more than 20 games a season.

I think we become immune to the sound of '£60k a week' but my god that's a hideous sum of money to earn. I bet he's still not got a hands free kit in his car either!
