I understand supply and demand etc, but how any of those players is good enough to earn £10,000 per day is beyond me.

What about KEVIN KEEN on over six hundred grand a year! It's bewildering. Reading through that list again has really depressed me. Football's a joke. There are two unknown reserve keepers on that list who earn over £400k a year between them - one on £250k+ and another on £150k. Okay it's small fry in PL footballers terms (about £5k & £3k per week respectively) but in the real world they're both huge salaries.

****ing sickening really! - One weeks wages from one of the reserve keepers would ****ing sort my life out. - a few grand too clear a load of debt, leave me with a bit of cash to spend on a holiday or something and no money worries each month. A month's wages and I'd be ****ing laughing, clear debt, put £10k in savings, then go travelling for a year. Depressing isn't it. aye and the life of riley too. - as well as a nice wage - it's a ****ing great job too.
Basically get paid to be fit and healthy, and turn up to work for a few hours each day to play football with your mates, exercise, eat nice healthy foods, then **** off for the rest of the day to do what the **** you want with your money.

God given footballing talent but unable to stay fit. Earned on average 60k per week for the last decade or so but never averaged more than 20 games a season.Comment
