The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The Boa Morte one is absolutely shocking. What a ****ing joke. 70 grand for that crock of ****?

Fair play to Mido taking 1k a week considering he would have earned much more somewhere else. Wonder what Fulham's wage bill is in comparison.

There's no way Rafa can stay now. This is the final nail in the coffin

considering he is on loan, might he get the rest of his wages from middlesbrough?

no - i'm pretty sure the terms were just £1k a week, he was on loan somewhere like Mars or China, and wanted to come back and play in England and would do so for basic living costs of £1k as he felt he had to prove himself. I don't think borough pay him anything though who knows

All things considered, he's a bit of a pleb asking for £1k a week. He's worth at least £3k so they'd have bitten his hand off for £2k

What about KEVIN KEEN on over six hundred grand a year! It's bewildering. Reading through that list again has really depressed me. Football's a joke. There are two unknown reserve keepers on that list who earn over £400k a year between them - one on £250k+ and another on £150k. Okay it's small fry in PL footballers terms (about £5k & £3k per week respectively) but in the real world they're both huge salaries.
                            Thanks very much for being

Why are these clubs being run way beyond their means? WH would probably have gone the same way as Pompey if Gold & Sullivan hadn't have come in to steady the ship.
