Shame about Warnock, Johnson and Bent imo. And all I can say about Heskey is, he must be hung like a donkey and have a very large photo collection.

Mind you, it's probably all bollocks.

i would like to see the following make it

Parker - great footballer, had a great season and deserves his chance

Bent - time and again bent has had as good a goalscoring season as any english striker in the league and misses out, i think he deserves his chance to be in the squad and that embarrasing attempt by heskey at heading the ball from gerrards world class cross worries me. - I fear if heskey goes it will influence how we approach games with prob a 4-5-1 formation, rooney on his tod getting fed up and frustrated, nothing happening 0-0 and 20 mins to go throw on heskey and lump it to him.

Johnson - great player, would give us some geniune class at left mid, can also play right mid just as well, full of confidence and i backed him a while ago to be englands 'suprise package'. I'm also (being left footed myself) a fan of left footers and if he didn't go, we'd only have 2 left footers in the squad - cole and one of baines and warnock - out of 23!! i'd like to see another in there.

Warnock - i like the lad, feel we mismanaged him and he should still be at the club - a manc fan of mine pointed it out, saying they have managed the likes of brown or o'shea and that warnock would have been ideal to do something similar for us. Plus if he went, it would mean baines didnt' which would make the bitters moan

        So for me -

        Hart, green, James

Johnson, Carra, terry, ferdinand, king, cole, warnock

lennon, johnson, gerrard, lampard, barry, parker, cole

        rooney defoe crouch bent.

        **** thats 21 - who have i missed

I know Heskey has been getting alot of stick, but I'd be suprised if he is left out.

Did you see that effort he missed? The open goal with the ball put perfectly on to his head. Expect that x100 if he makes it. I don't even know how he plays in the PL.

yeah i agree, heskey will go - i just feel that he has had a chance for england, gone to tournements before, and Bent has consistently scored goals has never had a crack at it

                  'Malignant' is a bit strong.

'The Irrelevant Seven' has a nice sound to it.
                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Yes I saw it, even the best strikers can miss sitters occasionally. For the record I'm not saying Heskey is a great striker. But I think that in general he has done well under Capello and he has big tournement experience. These are the reasons I expect Capello to pick him.

Also, the talk of Milner being a shoe in just highlights how **** the England squad really is. 3 or 4 world calss players, about 20 will be making up the numbers.

He is utter utter **** isnt he? He's not even a regular for Villa ffs and yet theres talk of him starting all the world cup games for England.

Capello has surely got to go Gerrard behind Rooney but I hope he doesnt.
