Spain's options in midfield are astounding. We knew it before but just seeing the list I'm still amazed.

The whole spanish team is astounding perhaps with the exception of the left back... they will surely go in to it with high confidence and as one of the favorites!

To be fair the only two I don't know are Antonio Candreva and Claudio Marchisio. The rest are good players with plenty of experience.

I think it's something like that, yeah. Not sure whether the 3 behind Milito would be in those exact positions, but i think they're all used. Could be wrong, but i'm fairly sure that's the system they operate to utilise all four.

Usually you'd have 2 holding mids behind them, Cambiasso and Mascher - though Cambiasso's not been included bizarrely, so it'd have to be Mascherano and one other. Sneaking feeling it might be Veron.

Where that leaves the likes of Maxi, i'm not sure. Perhaps they'll rotate a bit in the group phase, when the opposition is relatively pish.
