      It was a good goal.
I think you are thinking of talent. Although the number of people who rated Babel would suggest it is easy to get confused.

Change of tack, among those pretty comprehensive stats, there is no mention of how many goals Liverpool conceded from set pieces. Clearly not worthy of mention.
        Oh I don't know.

That's true too. But he was never fast (or even "nippy" ).
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

60 in 285 appearances for Bolton. 119 in 596 career stats. Just not very good really.

Heskey's record is even slightly better with 144 in 641. Can't make any argument for him being anywhere near the world cup squad.

Whether you consider him dirty or aggressive it doesn't matter, he's not suited to international football, aside from lacking the technical ability, his style of play would see attacks break down every time he challenged for the ball in the air. Look at the number of freekicks Crouch gives away at european and international level, and he's nowhere near as aggressive or physical as Davies.
