When the lucks not with you, it does'nt matter how well you play.
Nah. Never a deliberate handball that. No pen.

Remarkably similar to ours in Europe though.

Except they have only won it 4 times not 5.

I don't think it was deliberate, but did it obstruct the Bayern player from a goal scoring chance? Would have been controversial anyway.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                Mine angry and defrauded young?

I like how now Mourinho's doing it (having previously favoured 4-3-3) it's "four forwards" and "a four man attack".

Yet when we do it - the same formation Rafa's used for five years - it's "boring, negative, one up front"
Maybe because the three are Eto'o, Sneijder and Pandev, two strikers and a creative attacking midfielder, and not Kuyt, Gerrard and Riera/Benayoun, a wide midfielder, a central midfielder and a cart horse.

                      Isn't Kuyt actually a striker ?

Kuyt is a striker, Babel thinks he's a striker, and Gerrard is an attacking midfield player, like Sneijder. It's the same. You can argue about quality but that aside and it's the same.

If Kuyt is a striker then Lucas is a creative playmaker in the Aimar mould.

Babel is ****e and Gerrard would have played in Cambiasso's role had he been at Inter because he doesn't have Sneijder's creativity.

Ok, Lucas must be a creative playmaker in the Aimar mould then, where does Kuyt play for Holland ?
