this is the point i try endlessly to get across to people.

yes babel isnt the finished article ( no where near ) but the 2nd half of the season when he screwed the head and rafa gave him more of a prominant role in the team, he showed that he may be capable of fulfilling his undoubted potential. he did come on to a better game than he had showed in his countless 5 - 7 min cameo sub apearances. this is all i ask of people to realsie when i back his corner.

a share of the credit must go to rafa for playing him and believeing in him too i must add.

After Babels Twitter comments in January, he could have taken the same line as he's done with Riera - and bombed him out of the club. So Rafa's taken a bit of a chance by playing him again
