Oh crap another one bites the dust. Not like we had a chance. On a side not Jesus Navas has been more impressive than David Silva so far in the world cup

Villa, Ibrahimovic, Messi, Bojan, Iniesta, Xavi, Mata, Pedro - and they're still trying to sign Mascherano, Fabregas and Torres too.

Ridiculous. They'll dominate europe for a good few years.

Yaya Toure will seal a move to Manchester City in the next few days and is set to be a key player at Eastlands, according to the player's agent.

The Ivory Coast midfielder was expected to seal a move earlier this month, but the player's participation in the World Cup and the change of presidents at Barcelona have slowed down the transfer.

But new Barca chief Sandro Rosell takes over from outgoing president Joan Laporta on Thursday and the move should be finalised shortly after that.

"I think we will have a solution this week. In fact, I would say that (it will be done) on the first or second of July - maybe on the second because the first will be a very busy day at Barca with the change of president," agent Dimitri Seluk told Sport.

Seluk revealed he will speak to Rosell, but insisted his player's mind is made up to leave Barca and join City.

"Yes, we have to talk, but of course, the reality is not going to change in one moment," he said.

"Yaya wants to play the important games and he knows that he will be an important player at Manchester City.

"It is not a money problem, as I have said 1,000 times, but a problem of (the lack of) confidence (that Barca have in him)."

Seluk said nothing had been signed yet, but claimed Toure's salary demands were reasonable.

"I haven't signed anything. However, Yaya doesn't have an astronomical salary, not at all, so it won't be difficult to be reach an agreement," he said.

                      it's official:

DI MARIA MAKES REAL MADRID MOVE

Real Madrid have agreed to sign Argentina winger Angel Di Maria on a six-year deal.

The 22-year-old, who is currently with the Argentina squad at the World Cup in South Africa, will move to the Bernabeu from Benfica for a reported 25million euros.

A statement on Madrid's official website read: "Real Madrid and Benfica have reached an agreement for the transfer of Angel di Maria.

"The player will sign a six-year contract with Real Madrid."

Di Maria joined Benfica from Argentinian side Rosario Central in 2007 and helped the Lisbon-based side to a Portuguese league and cup double last season.

He won the World Under-20 Championship with Argentina in 2007 and the following year scored the extra-time winner against Holland in the final of the Olympic Games.

He has yet to find his best form in South Africa, though.

Di Maria will add to the wealth of attacking talent at Madrid, joining Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Karim Benzema and Argentina team-mate Gonzalo Higuain as the Spanish giants, under the guidance of new boss Jose Mourinho, look to reclaim the title from Barcelona and make an impact in the Champions League.

Barca pipped their rivals to the Primera Division crown by three points, while Madrid were knocked out of the Champions League in the last 16 by Lyon.

                        So Yaya to City

What does that mean for Barca? Cesc or Masch? Stick with what they've got?

What about City? De jong? Barry? Ireland? Fat Johnson?

How many defensive midfielders does Mancini want at city?

Yaya Toure, Vieira, De Jong, Barry and Kompany.

he likes to play 4-3-3 doesnt he so i can see at least two of them starting every game while viera will probably warm the bench most of the time, i think Kompany is also a CB as well

Barry is best in a midfield three with someone else as the holding player too.

Obviously they might be looking to sell some of those players as well.
