There's a lot of Lee's and Kim's in that Korea squad.

Easy to see how this brown-noser made it into the squad

I didn't realise both Koreas had qualified.

In the unlikely event they get through, when would South Korea meet North Korea?

It would make for an interesting final, especially if decided in extra time, or on penalties, or by first strike nuclear attack.
            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

did i say they were ****? i said "if they have a weak spot" it's them, and by looking at their team which is full of fantastic talent, their 3 goalies don't inspire much confidence do they?

well see how they do in the tournement..

Romero is good on FM. Their defence (bar Masch) is **** as a whole.

I know it sounds odd but I think people will be surprised by how good Argentina are at the World cup, a lot of people seem to be quit critical of them. Maradonna looks like he has been a mentalist but he has established a pattern of play and it is worth remembering that they were struggling to qualify before he took over. They look more united now and if Aguero or Messi ignite I think they are good shouts for the win.

Does he play his Aguero now though? The first few games I watched he didn't get a look in.

like i've said i haven't heard a lot about their goalkeepers, i have heard about Romero before one or twice but nothing else bar his name

he might have a good tournament, who knows but on paper that's their weakest link imo.

the defence with burdisso, demichelis, walter samuel and heinze looks more than decent imo.

Is that using your ‘heard of them’ criteria?

Nah, Burdisso has never really impressed me any time I’ve seen him play. Heinze looked a shadow of the player he was when leaving Madrid, although for all I know he might have played brilliantly in France last year. Samuel is a quality player and seemed to settle well back in Italy, but unfortunately I seen more of him when he played at Madrid. And Demichelis was just an accident waiting to happen against United.
