these teams have been pretty poor. ok game like, but how nigeria managed to miss their goal and how greece haven't managed to add to their total, i'll never know.

It could be crucial for group bets.

Always used to be GD first, but these commentators were saying that Greece would've been out if they'd lost this game - and i wondered if that would've been because they'd lost the Korea game, so that would ensure that they couldnt finish above S Korea if they'd ended up on equal points.

surely 90% of the africans play in one of the european or south american leagues? was it ron atkinson?

Tie-breaking criteria

-greatest number of points in matches between tied teams;
-goal difference in matches between tied teams;
-greatest number of goals scored in matches between tied teams;
-alphabetical order
-drawing of lots by the FIFA Organising Committee for teams with identical names, e.g. Japan and Japan.
