Had to go for that. Ref had no choice given how they have been clamping down this tournament. There should be no tolerance of that sort of behaviour.

I think they have all been justified and that the consistency levels of the refs has been good. The players haven't adapted though.

I thought so. I know the vast majority of TV people keep referring to it as a **** up but he could've broken the lad's leg, though it was very reckless and dangerous.

I thought so - the way this World Cup has been refereed it was a dangerous tackle from behind the way I remember it. I would like this sort of harsh refereeing to be bought to the PL and I've said so for a while. I think it is easier to be consistent with simple, harsh rules for this sort of tackle for referees to apply.
