What are peoples views on whether Green should be dropped or not? He's made one mistake, if Capello was that convinced that he was good enough he should stick with him, should one mistake change that? In recent years England have had Seaman, Robinson, James, Carson, Kirkland, Foster and Green all playing if they continue dropping keepers after one mistake there's soon going to be no one left...The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment

As an Ireland fan, I cannot believe England are not picking Hart. All this rubbish about him not having experience at the top level... We had Kevin Kilbane in our last WC appearance ffs. Hart's by far the best English keeper in England (Mancini is bringing him back to City to usurp Given by all accounts).

I think he should have picked James from the start, and should now drop Green for James. I think the chances of Green having a nervy game and affecting the team as a whole are too big to risk. Plus James is just simply a better keeper.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostComment

Helen Mirren slams 'piss-poor' BP on US TV show over oil spill
Dame Helen Mirren said she was ‘relieved’ that England did not beat the US in the World Cup because of the BP oil spill.
The actress told American TV that victory in Saturday’s match would have been unfair because of the Gulf of Mexico disaster.
The 64-year-old also told chatshow host David Letterman that the initials BP should stand for ‘bloody p***-poor’ to cheers from the audience.
‘I was so relieved it was a draw. I don’t think I could have come on this show,’ she said.
‘I’d have been so embarrassed and mortified at being British, I think I’d have had to cancel.’
Dame Helen referred to the ‘Britain’ rather than ‘England’ football team and also appeared confused about the origins of the sport, saying that tribes used to cut off heads of rivals and kick them around.
