I feel a bit sorry for Heskey. He's obviously not Marco van Basten but the level of stick he's getting from all quarters - in fact it's not stick, it's piss-taking and at times abuse....well it's OTT if you ask me.

Heskey had a great game the other night! Should have scored but he did what he was sent out to do.

It is a shame. In terms of role models, he's a great example. A lovely bloke, not flashy, never in trouble. Never bitching in the media. Never complained about not being first choice in any of his teams. Puts in a proper shift.

Hope I'm not on dodgy ground there, but I really like him and always want him to do well.
