LOL at folk getting carried away by Germany. This Australia side is the worst I've seen in the tournament so far. Germany playing some nice stuff though but a good side would give them a lot of problems I reckon. ****e at the back, even this woeful Aussie side have opened them up a few times.

This is how they were playing through their friendlies too, I expect this game to be exactly like this.

I think their defence will get better as it goes on, it is only really 1 different player since the Euro's.

I also think if they bring Marin and Cacau on in the second half you'll see some more exciting play from them.

I think Mertesacker's crap, as is Friedrich. Don't know too much about Badstuber but I wasn't too impressed with him in the CL this season.

Another reason for the lack of goals in the competition all together is that the gap between the weaker teams and the stronger teams is closing a little, also there haven't been any really good teams playing against really bad ones. Games like this one here could help boost stats.
