Very enjoyable game and about time too. Tomorrow's games should be good too I reckon.

I found it a bit boring, like a training match.

Can't believe some of our fans were keen when we wanted to sign him. I was having a heart attack on some forum telling them that Arbeloa was a million times better and no one would believe me because they hadn't heard of him. So glad he took his 60k/week (or whatever massive joke of a wage that they offered him) at West Ham and didn't come to us. It'd have been dire and he probably still wouldn't have been able to flog him off.

Sparks really flew in the studio huh? Detached and arrogant Davids, Vieira and Keegan incoherent and nonsensical, and Chiles seemingly bored ****less.

Yeah, should get better from here.

To be fair, the first couple of days didnt really have many of the top sides.

Next few days we'll be seeing Holland, Brazil and Spain

Can I just say in euro 2008 and this world cup so far Joachim low has been very impressive in the way he utilise's what he has, takes risk in youth always has a balanced team and sends the team out to play attractive attacking football and the germans have some style in both football and fashion

a good gaffer, wonder if he would be interested in club management in the Premier League?

Probably would be, just not at Liverpool

**** my life, apparently the aussie coach didnt pick our striker who normally plays in the 4-2-3-1 because he "didnt work hard enough in training" everyone knows that we play best when we play the same team because they are like a well oiled machine, so instead Verbeek decides to play people who would never have had a shout in the last world cup. Also calling Craig Moore back into the squad was a disaster waiting to happen, he struggles against a decent player in the A-league let alone world class footballers, i guess it just goes to show that Australian football still has a long way to come. At least in four years we are gonna have some damn good players who are coming through youth setups in some top clubs....

What a game by the germans

                      Secured me some money yesterday

Also have a bet on them as world champs and so far they are the only team that have played like a team that could win.

The selection was very strange. Chiles is such a matey presented it makes no sense at all to put him on with people who are not going to engage in that sort of chat. I remember seeing a painful interview he did with Houllier on the BBC, with the right people though he can be entertaining.

Keegan seems to have become more boring with age. He was always incoherent but at least back in the day he would get all over emotional about things which kept things interesting.
