Yep, headline on one of tomorrow's papers...you know the way they go through them on Sky Sports News.

Guardian reporting that he hasn't travelled with the squad because the mancs don't want the infection spreading to other players. Messes up my fantasy team but haha anyway

Matching MOTD this morning does anyone else find it annoying/cringeworthy that the Arsenal announcer only refers to their players by their first name.

"The goal scorer for Arsenal is number 14 Theo"

"The goal scorer for Arsenal is number 2 Abou"
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It's that european style thing, where he shouts out their first name, and the crowd chant the surname, in a very cringeworthy manner. It never seems to sound so embarrassing when european clubs do it, but for some reason, Arsenal just come across as cringeworthy idiots when they do it.

When it comes to support, almost everything Arsenal do is cringeworthy.

I certainly dont. Random selection doesnt come up with this:

Liverpool's first game of the season:
                              10-11 Arsenal (h)
                              09-10 Spurs (a)
                              08-09 Sunderland (a)
                              07-08 Aston Villa (a)
                              06-07 Sheff Utd (a)
                              05-06 Middlesbrough (a)
                              04-05 Spurs (a)
                              03-04 Chelsea (h)
                              02-03 Aston Villa (a)
                              01-02 West Ham (h)

Man Utd's first game of the season:
                              10-11 Newcastle (h)
                              09-10 Birmingham (h)
                              08-09 Newcastle (h)
                              07-08 Reading (h)
                              06-07 Fulham (h)
                              05-06 Everton (a)
                              04-05 Chelsea (a)
                              03-04 Bolton (h)
                              02-03 West Brom (h)
                              01-02 Fulham (h)
I was under the impression the league winners always start the new season at home though, if so Utd have started home due to winning the league the previous year 5 times in that list. The remaining 5 years it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect them to start from home 2 or 3 times so there home starts is about what you would expect.

I'm not aware of any such ruling.

And if it exists, well it proves the 'random fixture computer' theory to be complete bollocks then.
