Why should they? I mean, in effect, he ****ed up, so in terms of being honest and upfront, yeah they could maybe say he got it wrong.

But in terms of Harry, why do the FA need to admit anything?

I agree in fairness but the British media love him.

I've always had mixed views on Harry Redknapp - i don't really dislike him but at the same i think he's a dodgy fella.

Don't know what to make of him sometimes.

He's not the sort of bloke you'd trust to look after your paperclip.

Harry bugs me mostly, but he's done a good job with Spurs (helped by a seemingly bottomless pit of cash) and they play some very good stuff.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

In terms of Harry, fair enough. As for the FA, they should fine/ban Clattenburg or do something, or told Alex Ferguson to shut it when he was suggesting that there was nothing wrong with the decision on Saturday.

Farcical and doesn't picture the FA in a good light at all, despite their dodgy management / PR disasters of years gone by. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Redknapp was to become the next England manager now.
            Are we winning?

Is it currently winter on your planet?

Does anyone have a link for this incident that caused so many problems? I've yet to see it.
                Thanks.

I dunno what you're referring to.

Sorry if my post seems to be a bit confusing, but I do a load of stuff at the same time, so pardon me if I look like a right plonker sometimes.

Reading what I've written again seem to make sense though.

The idea that the FA would ban or fine Clattenburg, or (more ridiculously) tell Ferguson to shut up, makes me think that you're on another planet

What next, you'll ask the FA to stop being corrupt?

Well, that would be a great start to clear up their name don't you think?

The FA have done the right thing all round. Don't charge Redknapp and don't publicly hang Clattenburg out to dry.

Sometimes no action is the right response.
                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Sorry this is a bit late, but was the world better before football?

Au contraire, mon brave, je crois que football was better before it completely sold its soul to television. There have been positives of course - better foreign players, er, um, can't think of anything else right now - but the way and the amount it's covered sickens me.

The coverage is a strange mix of seriousness without depth, analysis without insight and puerility without fun. And there's too much of it. Far, far too much.

                              IMO of course.
