I think that he will buy out his contract if they are not accepting a move to City in January. I believe that he already have a done deal with them.

Buy your own contract out when you have 12mths or less left on it. Hes has 18mth at the moment, dont kno what the figure would be, Rooney would certainly be able to afford it and still be ****ing loaded.

Can Rooney buy his contract out in Jan or next summer? Surely United would be stupid to not sell him asap now that this has come out out. If he can only buy it out at the end of the season the Glazers would force fergie to sell now anyway. Swap for Benezema won't happen unless Fergie throws a few mil too which he can't.
