Such good news this.. it makes me worry a bit that other big names may follow him to Citeh, one in particular..no two..oops, but....it also means that they may not so aggressively pursue the other big name striker they've been constantly linked to..along with the Chavs.
edit: then again maybe not...they can afford to buy who the **** they like...and put wage amounts in the public domain to turn their heads too.

Right now can we go back to laughing at Man Utd and Fergie
The more I think about it, the more I think Rooney has already done a deal with City. Fergie tried to play down Man City's change of fortune when they took Tevez and City have decided to tap up Rooney just to show that they are going to be the big dogs in Manchester.
Cook approaches Stretford and offers them the biggest deal in history and Stretford convinces Rooney that the future is blue. It makes sense, Stretford and his team know that the Glazers have ****ed United and the only way is down so they tell Rooney to save himself and switch. City can offer them tens of millions of pounds without any trouble.
Rooney doesn't give a **** about anybody but himself so you can see why he's betrayed them
Paddy Barclay on talkSPORT this afternoon bemoaning the state that United are in because of the ruinous interest payments as a result of the Glazer leveraged buyout. He also bemoaned the lack of funds for Damento asking where all the 25m - 30m signings have gone.
Laughable really. Leveraged buy out almost ruins us yet it's all Rafa's fault.
Similar thing happens to the scum and it's the owners fault.
What a cunt. However, if United follow our path to near self destruction you just know the press will go wild about how LBOs are bad for football and what a disgrace it is. Pretty much following in poor Paddy's footsteps. There was hardly a peep about our situation until the final days really and still it's all Rafa's fault ........laughable really.

Everton have confirmed to me clause still in force. 25% of any fee over what they have already received, which is currently around £26m
this is what gets me about the modern internet football supporter.
No Class.
Fergie no matter what anyone says has done a fantastic job at Man U and goes down as one of the top 5 managers of all time in England and yes he is the archetypal pantomine villain as far as Liverpool are concerned but at the end of the day he is what british football is all about.
Clearly he is struggling with the modern average football player. An uneducated kid with an IQ of 100 who is easily manipulated by an agent or friends for the love of money or lifestyle.
Gerrard has his head turned and nearly left even after Liverpools greatest success in recent years, and only changed his mind from pressure from his family and Rick Parry.
I dont mind a bit of banter but when I hear them described as cunts or ****s, it just makes me think about where football really is today and whether certain supporters even deserve any success.
sure Fergie isnt everyones cup of tea but if he became available for Liverpool tomorrow I'd take him in flash.
