I love that attacking footy he has his team playing. What a great breath of fresh air to see...would he have the balls and nerve to run liverpool? Would you give him a chance to try it with a club with money? Do you think a manager who has cut his teeth in the lower leagues has it to succeed in teh Premiership? Discuss?

Holloway used to be like everyother manager in the lower leagues. Lump it up to a big man and hope for the best.
He has changed his style alot over the last 18 months. He however will never bring sucess in the Premiership. He will be like Curbishly or Mclaren. Mid Table at best*Except Michael, who died.

Yes, I do. Although I don't think there is a candidate right now that fits the billOriginally posted by Subby View PostI love that attacking footy he has his team playing. Holloway got QPR then Leicester relegated. What he did and continues to do with Blackpool is great, but it's basically only been ONE season with them
Far too early IMOI saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Wonder who will be the first to tout him for the Liverpool job even i would find that hillarious

Every week his team surprise me. Infact I should say shock me! They are indeed a breath of fresh air. I don't think its flavour of the month or anything like that, Ian Holloway and Owen Coyle have got big big futures in the premier league. The way they operate is highly commendable and they approach the game the way British managers should approach it. Completely different to dinosaurs like Allardyce and Hodgson.
There are a few young managers in the lower leagues with real potential who command the respect of players and have their teams play football the right way
