    Ian Holloway

I love that attacking footy he has his team playing. What a great breath of fresh air to see...would he have the balls and nerve to run liverpool? Would you give him a chance to try it with a club with money? Do you think a manager who has cut his teeth in the lower leagues has it to succeed in teh Premiership? Discuss?
    Cheers

After this season if Blackpool don't do a Hull and continue to play attacking football and win games then maybe. Thats at the earliest too. He hasn't proved anything unless you are also ready to consider Phil Brown as a viable option.

We want attacking footy at our club and he's got a team like blackpool ffs...beating us and almost beating Man city's 11 strikers on the pitch team.
        Cheers

Flavour of the month. A nice fella but a demented proposal. George Burley's Ipswich side played good attacking football too.

Holloway used to be like everyother manager in the lower leagues. Lump it up to a big man and hope for the best.

He has changed his style alot over the last 18 months. He however will never bring sucess in the Premiership. He will be like Curbishly or Mclaren. Mid Table at best
            *Except Michael, who died.

Yes, I do. Although I don't think there is a candidate right now that fits the bill

Holloway got QPR then Leicester relegated. What he did and continues to do with Blackpool is great, but it's basically only been ONE season with them

              Far too early IMO

If he does well with Blackpool I think he should follow Maclaren and go abroad, if he won a league title in Germany or France or won the Europa League, maybe in 5 years we could consider him for the Liverpool job.

Wonder who will be the first to tout him for the Liverpool job even i would find that hillarious

He will be a top manager in my opinion but now is certainly not the right time for us. I don't think Blackpool will get relegated and I think he will eventually have a big club in this league.

Every week his team surprise me. Infact I should say shock me! They are indeed a breath of fresh air. I don't think its flavour of the month or anything like that, Ian Holloway and Owen Coyle have got big big futures in the premier league. The way they operate is highly commendable and they approach the game the way British managers should approach it. Completely different to dinosaurs like Allardyce and Hodgson.

There are a few young managers in the lower leagues with real potential who command the respect of players and have their teams play football the right way

ok maybe not NOW the Liverpool manager but I rate him as a good up coming manager. Maybe one for the future?
