What? Because when your 4-0 down with 10 men for 80 mins, against one of, if not the best team in the world getting back to 4-3 is an achievement.Originally posted by Baracus View PostWhats the point of giving credit to a team that does not win. Simples. Roy hodgson talk that.
They done well to come back, still lost but great second half from them and credit where credit is due.

That's fine, but if you honestly believe that they didn't get lucky tonight for that to happen with Bale....then your just being foolish....and the scoreline in no way reflects the overall game, if Spurs had dominated..Bale had plenty of chances then maybe...but to come away from there after that performance and be 4-3 is jammy as ****.Originally posted by danperkins View PostWhat? I really don't care. my mentality is simple, you win and you get credit, in anything in life. Not when you lose. 'You tried your best pat on the back, great achievement. 2007 champions league final we tried our best, i don't care we did not win.Originally posted by danperkins View PostWhat? How can you say Bale was lucky?! Is Messi scored those goals you'd be creaming your pants.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostThat's fine, but if you honestly believe that they didn't get lucky tonight for that to happen with Bale....then your just being foolish....and the scoreline in no way reflects the overall game.imo.

How can the scoreline reflect the game when one team has 10 men and the other has 11, and for 80 mins?Originally posted by Vermilion View PostThat's fine, but if you honestly believe that they didn't get lucky tonight for that to happen with Bale....then your just being foolish....and the scoreline in no way reflects the overall game.imo
Inter are the triple winning champions, Spurs over achieved to get to the Champs League and were without 2 of their best players which is massive for a club like them. Conceding after 1 minute in the san siro is not a good start either.
Inter got complacent and sat back in the second half, Spurs got them on the break. Zanetti crucified for pace on several occasions. I couldn't give a **** about Inter or Spurs but as a neutral i have to give credit to Spurs.
And Bale has been on fire since start of 2009 mate, he has a peach of a left foot, have u been watching the lad ove the past year? He has been superb, sure Inter have enquired about him and you can be guaranted the mancs will be sniffing. 3 great goals by Bale and a man of the match performancel out their on his own.

Different strokes for different folks but I don't get that logic, there is nothing wrong with giving credit where credit is due.Originally posted by Baracus View PostI really don't care. my mentality is simple, you win and you get credit, in anything in life. So basically if we lose a game and someone like Gerrard/Cole/Torres have an outstanding game, you don't give a **** and **** them because we didn't win? Ridiculous attitude.

Bale will be in the £20m bracket now but the Mancs won't sign him cos those days are over. They could try but they'd get into an auction and be left for dead. I think he's nailed on for Barca or Real. He's a ****e left back but **** me what a revelation on the wing. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
