Relax mate never said Spurs deserved to win, nobody did, just said that did they great to get back to 4-3 and Bale was sensational, your reading into it too much because your defensive about Rafa.
    Sorry missed the nearly.

    This has got nothing to do with me or Rafa fans being pissed off. Inter were by far the better team and could have scored 10. Bale had one of those games where everything he did came off....Inter took their foot off the gas and nearly paid the price.

    It would have never happened under Mourinho as they would never have been 4 up in the first place....did you watch Inter in the CL last year? negative, stifling tactics in the extreme. They did win it though!

      Great Post. Put DP to bed and tucked him in. Exactly how the game went too, Spurs put to bed early...comfortable..a little tantrum..a liitle fight back....plenty of luck... but ultimately Inter was the Daddy.. mwwwahahahaha

        See all this, i agree and have said that already on the thread. I merely stated Spurs done great to get back to 4-3 with 10 men, is that not true?

        And as regards Mourinho vs Rafa, well we all know there is no comparison there but Rafa has his work cut out for him if he wants to achieve even an iota of what Mourinho achieved with Inter.

          I think the reason you piss so many people off is with assumptions like these and referring to your opinion as if it is fact. It is not.

            I think you can only assume that Spurs "done great" if you look at the result only:

            Inter Milan 4-3 Tottenham FT
            (HT 4-0)

            * Zanetti 2
            ......................* Gomes (red card) 11
            * Eto'o (pen) 11
            * Stankovic 14
            * Eto'o 35
            ......................* Bale 52
            ......................* Bale 90
            ......................* Bale 90+1
            Where you can see Spurs pulling 3 goals back with only 10 men. It doesn't show you that Inter were already in the Ristorante sipping Chianti after half time.

            So there's the view from those who actually watched the match - Spurs were ****e and Inter let them off in the second half.
            And the view of those who saw the result on the Sky Sports vidiprinter - Spurs done great in the second half and were unlucky.

              Mate your username is Ben_Itez for god sake so i can't take it that you'll have a balanced debate.

              When people post on forums 99% of the time "is it their opinion" no point in you saying that i'm posting things as fact, that could apply to anyone on this forum, should i put "IMO" in every single post i make? Should everyone do that then?

              As regards the Rafa vs Mourinho thingy, is it ot true to say that Rafa does have his work cut out with Inter winning the treble last season? And have you ever seen a Mourinho side ever let a lead slip like that? Mourinho has done it it several different countries, his record speaks for itself regardless of the club or circumstance he has gone into.

              And people are defensive about Rafa, otherwise why would anyone even bother reaction this way about an Inter vs Spurs game? Everyone knows that Rafa and Mourinho have a little tiff going on and no matter what happens Rafa "will" be compared to Mourinho, just as many people are comparing Roy to Rafa, its only natural.

              Like i said if you check out thread i said Spurs done great to get back to 4-3 with 10 men, which they totally did and the reaction from certain people was bizarre considering its only Inter Milan which logically leads you to believe thats its because Rafa is in charge.

                Dear Jesus so what, i don't care who deserved to win dude Spurs and Inter mean nothing to me as clubs, if any team is down 4-0 with 10 men for 80 mins against the best team in the world, and manages somehow to get back to 4-3 regardless of what happens, its a great effort. Credit where credit is due.

                I'm not stating anything that is shocking here and not disagreeing that Inter weren't the better team, why the reaction ? Its because Rafa is the manager, no?

                    I just cant understand how you cant see that Inter having the proverbial deckchairs out in the second half is the main (if not only) reason Spurs managed to pull three back. If Inter had even put a little bit of effort in it would most likely have stayed 4 - 0.

                    Why even mention Rafa? I certainly didnt. I simply watched a game of football last night. You've got a secret man-crush on Rafa haven't you

                        I said in previous post that Inter sat back, but so what that was their problem and Spurs got 3 goals with 10 men, and surely credit where credit is due?

                        And Rafa was mentioned way before i posted in this thread and he is the manager of Inter Milan in which the conversation and thread was based. Sure you simply watched a game of football alright mate

                        P.S. Man Crush?? Nah i don't do pink shirts so unlucky Rafa change the attire and i'll think about it.

                          There you go again making wild assumptions. My name is Ben and it seemed an obvious moniker as Rafa was manager when i joined the site fyi.

                          Most of the time it is assumed that what people write on a forum is their opinion unless otherwise referenced. My problem is that you make assumptions about other peoples opinions....ie 'we all know ' etc etc

                          As regards the Rafa vs Mourinho thingy, is it ot true to say that Rafa does have his work cut out with Inter winning the treble last season? Yes he does have a bit of challenge to win as much as Mourinho did last year as any coach would. I think it's likely though that he'll achieve, and i quote, 'one iota' of what Mourinho did

                          And people are defensive about Rafa, otherwise why would anyone even bother reaction this way about an Inter vs Spurs game? Probably. Doesn't alter the fact that Inter totally owned Spurs and the scoreline was extremely flattering to 'Arry's men

                            FYI, it was a joke mate

                            Winning the treble is a monsterous achievement, like i said if Rafa can do even "one iota of what he did" he will be doing alright.

                            So what due, at the end of the day it was still the scoreline no matter what way to try to justify it

                            *P.S. Apologies for the bold, i didn;t know how to do the fancy red like you did

                              Meanwhile, Terry believes that Chelsea are in a position to finally land the UEFA Champions League - a trophy won twice by United under Sir Alex Ferguson - after so many near-misses in recent seasons.
                              He added: "It's the one trophy that's eluded myself and the club. We've come so close, we've had our bad luck, our unfortunate games.
                              "The Liverpool semi - was their goal over the line or not? Then there was the final against Manchester United and the semi against Barcelona when we could have had five or six penalties.
