It's criminal that we're going into a game at Stoke, thinking a win is so incredibly unlikely.

Nope, but it's good for the "anyone but united" title bid.

Was trying to think of how it effects us

I suppose Villa going 1 point ahead of us, perhaps? From that POV view, we dont want Villa getting too far ahead, but also dont want the mancs winning.

I mean for climbing up the table, and not falling a laughable pace away from the front two. 4th place for us is the best possible hope, if thats even a hope. A draw is good result for us climbing up the table and improving our position...... well if we beat Stoke away of course

My priority is LFC Club, rather than them lot. Chelsea will win it anyway.

If 4th is the best we can do (and i agree, pretty much) then it doesnt really matter if the top 2 get miles ahead of us. In fact, if they take points off the other 4th place contenders in doing so, all the better for us.

The only positive thing for us, is that it dents United's title bid, but this isnt directly linked to our fortunes really. Obviously i dont want the mancs to win it and any dropped points is fine in that regard, but i dont think they are consistent enough to win it anyway, even if they'd won today.

Chelsea have barely got out of 2nd gear and they're walking it.

Chelsea are favourites but anything can happen at this point and I'd rather see the mancs fall as far as possible from the top, and it has a lot to do with us.

but ya know yourself even if we have no chance of even remotely challenging for the title, you don't want to be 20 points behind the winners come the end of the season. Suppose it highlights horribly the gap between us and them which no LFC supporter likes to see.

I want every team ahead of LFC to lose or drop points, i'm happy with the draw to be honest, suppose its up to us to capitalise of other teams dropping points, no excuses at this point they must get 3 points.

You wouldnt want to be that far off, but in reality, it doesnt matter. The most important thing, is the position, more than the points.

Perfect example of this is 2008-2009, we get 86 points which would win it most years, but it didnt that season.

Vidic didnt get a 2nd yellow because he was 'pushed' into the fans by his team mates

                          Just farcical.

I have to agree that he was pushed in a bit, load of lads on his back too, and he got out as quick as he could. Not a booking IMO, Young's was completely different, although the rule itself is a joke IMO.
