I don't believe he is. Fits the narrative but isn't really credible. The 'gets to the ball before Ronaldo' bit isn't right as he had no chance of reaching it before the defender.

ah the chap is an egomaniac & a me feinner (unfortunately watched his movie i'm sad to say) but I did laugh when I seen some of the comments. He's done it in the past, did it champs league final when Ramos scored. Someone can get youtube of the goal, identical hand in the air and look over to linesman. I'm sure i've seen him doing it last season too but can't remember what game it was.

Does look strange alright but does seem to be him doing it as some confirmation to the lineman that a scrappy goal should stand. Ronaldo seems so desperate to be the winner or one who wins things, that when others score he seems pissed off that it's not him in the limelight. I don't care for Ronaldo or Messi as people, both seem like total dicks but I suppose there has to be some trade off for being so ****ing good

I actually think he is hurting Madrid now, it's all about him rather than the team. Look at the assists Messi, Suarez and Neymar give to each other, it could kill him to to do that for Bale & Benzema.

They would be better off binning him & Benzema, building the team around Bale (inc letting him take freekicks!) and buying other forwards a la Aguero, Dybala etc

I actually think he is hurting Madrid now, it's all about him rather than the team. Look at the assists Messi, Suarez and Neymar give to each other, it could kill him to to do that for Bale & Benzema.

He's probably going through his worst goal drought in **** knows how long. Ronaldo to be fair to him averages about 15 assists every season, which isn't bad for a selfish cunt like him.

I'm actually surprised Madrid haven't gone in for Aguero, maybe injuries are what's holding them back but if Ronaldo keeps scoring 50-60 goals per season he's always going to be the main man. Ronaldo should 100% be taken off free kick duty, it's embarrassing at this stage.

That public image thing is a funny one. There is a general tendency for people to love Messi and hate Ronaldo and yet one is found guilty of tax fraud and have been identified for tax evasion in another instance (panama papers), the other the most charitable athlete but a bit to happy with himself.

I have no clue about the later, just always found it a bit funny that Ronaldo is so hated considering what I wrote before. That said I also have the same tendency when watching them play, and I really have to remind myself about how Messi really seem to be as a person to balance it
