If they progress then they deserve it in such a tough group, i'm not bitter that they have replaced us in the champs league. They play lovely football and are great to watch , i have zero issues with Spurs, best of luck to them.

Sure we already have to compete with several other teams so that makes no odds, its up to LFC to make our club attractive to big players by winning games and climbing into the top positions. LFC need to concentrate on themselves and not other teams.

I've no interest in what they deserve or not, and it's nothing to do with having 'issues', my only concern is what's best for LFC.

Of course it 'makes odds'. It's upto LFC to climb into top positions, and this is made much harder by Spurs progressing in the CL.

Eh no its completely the opposite of that Craig, it makes them having to compete on two fronts, in which they always have to play their best players as games are so tough they can ill afford to rest any players for upcoming league games. It will stretch their squad and test their quality as a unit. Spurs going further in the Champs League is beneficial for LFC as regards the league places.

The CL doesnt restart until February 2011. I think you overstate the drain on their squad.

In the meantime, they go into the January window, boosted financially and in terms of status.
