Eight years straight is mightily impressive for a player who gets so much ****.
It's usually from people who have judged him on a few games against English sides in the champions league and have no knowledge of European football.

Ally Mccoist also holds that record, it's only players in that special league that is able to do that and I think you can add Terry Butcher to that list

but serious he is a very good player, and the only thing keeping him down a bit is the fact that he is a mood player. His level is not consistenly high to be ranked up there with the best of the best.

The CL doesnt restart until February 2011. I think you overstate the drain on their squad.

In the meantime, they go into the January window, boosted financially and in terms of status.
