Lille warn of Hazard price tag
General manager confident key playmaker will remain at club

Lille general manager Frederic Paquet is '99.99 per cent' sure that Eden Hazard will remain at the club this summer.

Belgium international Hazard has been strongly linked with a move away from Stade Lille-Metropole after being named Ligue 1 Player of the Year.

Several of Europe's top clubs have been mooted as potential suitors for the playmaker, with Bayern Munich the latest to be mentioned.

It is reported that the German giants are very interested in signing Hazard, but Paquet has stressed only a hugely lucrative offer would be considered.

He told L'Equipe: "Five of the 10 greatest clubs in Europe are following him, calling and calling again.

"As any player would in such a situation, he is asking himself some questions.

"There are offers you cannot refuse, but something unreal would be needed. It is senseless to give a number.

"I rate it at 99.99% that he will not leave. We want to keep him."

Not much we didn't know already, pretty much a massive offer will land him

I don't see us being in for him this year then.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

We are one of the 5 greatest teams in Europe and I remember reading a chunky article on him last year and how much Kenny rates him and this was while Hodgson was still knocking about.

I think we are in for him and I also think we might get him. I pray we do as he is one of the best talents on the planet right now.

This is while Hodgson was still around but the article I read was a good 5 pages long talking about his journey in football and had some great comments about how potentially good his scouts and trainers believe he could become.

              99.99% or 120% = 0%

              0% = 100%

              Hope its clear now.

Things wont be certain until the window closes. I would be suprised to not see him move. Dont think it will be too us though.

Lets say nobody else bids for him except us.

Stay at Lille with champions league or join us. Its a very hard sell. Not happening.

I told someone who is seeing kenny tomorrow to pass a message on from me
That we all want Eden Hazard And Sergio Aguero.
Doubt he'll pass the message on though

Buy Hazard, Aguero and Enrique, play 4-3-3, qualify for the champions league, and strengthen the rest of the team next year. Simple.

In terms of history and stature, yes

In terms of where we are right now and for the very immediate future? Nowhere near

Guess it's up to Kenny & Commoli (sounds like a comedian duo from Manhattan) to pursuade whomever that this won't be the case for long. And then make it happen
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Interesting you said that I was going to post the same thing.

Currently there are up to 10 clubs that could potentially pay for his services and all of them bar one have very good history and tradition.

Seydoux has said the Hazard is an "integral part of the team" whilst Paquet said it will take "really silly money" for Lille to accept.

Silly money? Well we have paid silly money before so that is encouraging I suppose.
