Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has made bids of £15m and more than £20m respectively for Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila and Lille forward Eden Hazard. The Frenchman may also return to Everton with a fresh approach for defender Phil Jagielka.

Fabregas and Nasri scored or setup 20/25 goals a season - those two will get nowhere near replacing that production.

Hazard's potential ceiling is higher than Nasri's, but short term Arsenal gets significantly weaker.

He's not close to Fabregas though - if they were replacing one of them with Hazard then fair enough but trying to replace the output of them both with him will leave them short IMO. With Arshavin's form having completely collapsed as well, they almost need a replacement for him as well for this season but no sign of that happening.

They are a RvP long term injury away from barely being a top 6 team. Gervinho does nothing for me, Wilshere is a nice player but check his goals/assists and he doesn't contribute much to those categories. Walcott will never be a top player and is just their version of Babel and their best defender Vermaelen has a worse injury record than Agger!

They will be tough to beat that's for sure.

Even if they sign all those they still need one more top notch striker and their goalkeeper is still very weak spot.

Eden Hazard isn't as good as Nasri yet. He will be one day I'm sure. M'Villa don't really know much about, heard a lot of good things and Jagielka, solid defender, could be good alongside Vermaelen. I still think our team would be stronger though.
