All the Blackburn fans I know are delighted he's been given the boot, they'd got sick of his hoof-ball, kick lumps out of the opposition tactics so I'm not sure why the press seem to think it's an unpopular decision with the fans?!

The only explanation is the media don't pay any attention to what the fans really think.
I know, it's hard to believe.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
I think there seems to be alot of press support for crap English managers Allardyce and Hodgson, I'm not sure if it is because they're English or because they have alot of friends in the media or what. But the fans of the clubs want rid of them because of the poor football they play.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Allardyce said: “I had not really met the new owners and only had little dialogue with them. Somebody somewhere has obviously said something derogatory to get me out of this job.
“I want to find that out and why. If I can do I will, if I can’t I will move on.
“Someone somewhere has said something just prior to the takeover or just after. Then they ring up and say your services are no longer wanted.
“And if there was anyone capable of looking after the club, with all due respect to Steve, it would have been Neil McDonald.
“He has a close working relationship with the players and been a manager before. It should have been him, but that was not to be either.”
Allardyce admits he has been haunted by the decision and added: “I really can’t get it out of my mind. Every day goes by and at some stage my wife finds me looking into the wilderness.
“I am thinking about the situation, I can’t get my finger on it.”
I saw his interview on SSN yesterday and it was just him playing the blame game "Someones said something to the owners blah blah blah".
Could be nothing to do with him being **** and them wanting a better manager?
I agree with the part about SA being ****, but they've put Steve Kean in charge now who's effectively a Coach. So they've not gone for a better manager really. It might end up with Blackburn being relegated.
