Its quite obvious Dzeko will get the 180 he wants. In all honest he is probably worth more to them than bloody Toure. Toure's agent must seriously be a genius, or his brother slipped the word about how much they can pay.

Have you been gazing in your crystal ball again?
I agree its improbable not inflation is rampant at the moment, it wasn't very long ago that £100k a week was massive money, now we're 250% of that, in what 3 years?!
Football (and Manchester City specifically) is that potty I wouldn't discount it within 5 years.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

Bigging up your own player, what utterly shocking behaviour. A confidence player at that.Originally posted by Mattshark View PostThe fool said Zamora is just as good as Dzeko!
Roy has his faults and makes enough gaffs without people trying to find them in what, in context, were reasonable things to say.
Who is to say Dzeko will be a PL success? He almost certainly wouldn't be in a Roy team any way

That's a 300% increaseOriginally posted by Craig_H View PostYes, but an increase of 400% from £250k p/w to £1m is far fetched at best. Plus, financial fair play will put a stop to it.
I completely agree with you, it's highly unlikely to happen in the foreseeable future. Even a club like Man City who are splurging cash without a care in the world for what constitutes value, will eventually have to start operating on a more sensible level. I have no doubt the figures will continue to rise, but it's a heck of a way to go before someone's getting as much as a million a week.
As for Dzeko, I haven't seen that much of him. Will he really live up to the hype? His record is obviously very good, but with it being the Bundesliga it's hard to know just how much weight to give it.Like blood on iron

I toyed with it but nailed my colours to the wrong mast

According to that Freddie Boswell character on Twitter, Dzeko has been at a Chester hotel today. If he was going to City, which we all think he is, he'd be at one of the hotels in Manchester used by City (Radisson, Malmaison or Lowry), or if outside the city, at Mottram Hall.
