As are Liverpool, it could be argued.
    Oh I don't know.

Are you suggesting we should swoop?
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Yes. Let's get into a bidding war.

            What a paltry bid.

Blackburn have made a move for AC Milan playmaker Ronaldinho by offering a deal worth about £20m over three years.[plus all the chickens he can eat]
Venky's, the company that bought Rovers in November, says their Brazil office is in talks with Ronaldinho's manager.
Venky's chair Anuradha Desai told BBC Radio Lancashire: "He is keen to play in the EPL [English Premier League] and I think that goes in our favour."

Desai also admitted that Rovers had made attempts to sign David Beckham on loan from Los Angeles Galaxy.
She added the club were "open whenever he is ready to come".

Beckham has been the subject of much transfer speculation with several Premier League clubs waiting to hear whether LA Galaxy will release the former England captain on a loan deal during the Major League Soccer off-season.

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has already suggested that Beckham is keen to move to White Hart Lane while Blackburn have joined Newcastle as interested parties.
              More to follow.

It's easy to forget how good Ronaldinho was, especially in that spell at Barca. He was ****ing amazing.

Saw him play live during that spell at the Nou Camp. Even managed to catch a rather good goal of his on video

Thing is wouldn't Blackburn be better off buying 3-4 players with that money instead of spunking it all on Ronaldinho who is still a good player, but won't relish playing up front with Jason Roberts every week. It will be like what happened to Robinho at City but with even crapper players.

The owners just want to sell shirts in India though don't they!!

I haven’t watched much Italian football this year bar the odd Inter match, but in the Brazil – Argentina friendly match he was brilliant in the first half. Him and Messi looked head and shoulders above the rest.

I’m not saying he’s not past it, but he’s still capable on his day and unlikely as it clearly is, I would have liked to see him in the PL if even for a year.

Edit: That **** my above wish didn’t come true when it appeared he was signing for United.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
