What the **** is going on? Where's the sitting deep and inviting pressure? Where's the hoofball? Where's the 'cant win, wont win' away from home form?

How the **** is he doing well?
Even when he was at Fulham he was one of the few managers that would actually have a go at United. They kept the ball on the deck and actually ran at Vidic and Ferdinand, attacking at every opportunity.

I seriously do have my suspicions about his intentions here.

      My theory:

Even with us we played some decent football in some ways. Particularly early on in his reign we played the ball about neatly in our own half. The difference is that against us most teams set up to contain - we got nowhere and failed to find the space to execute Roy's set moves. At West Brom teams give him more space and he has a lot of players suitable to that sort of break based football.

The poor quality of the PL this year has resulted in his techniques working home and away when players fully commit to executing his plan.

It was Torres's fault. He did Hodgson in. Imagine how good we could have been with Carlton Cole. ****ing hell, we've shot ourselves in the foot here big time.

It's actually quite simple. He's more suited to that kind of defensive style, small club mentality. They aren't actually conquering sides and winning with stamping authority though. The law of averages will ensure he'll get the sack at some point, and it'll be ignominious.

I've pretty much forgotten about him. Don't care what he does for the rest of his career.

Regardless he was the wrong man for the job.

I want to do another one to be honest but he's doing too damn well! Part of the whole thing was his ineptitude. I'll have to think of a new angle now he's doing quite well. I'll probably pounce as soon as he loses a game.

You could do one with him meeting the chairman, to discuss plans for next season, with Bodger all smug and 'i told you so, im roy ****ing hodgson, king of the LMA, you need never have doubted me and my 36 years experience' etc....and then demanding a ridiculous budget because 'players of the quality of Jason Roberts, Emmerson Boyce and Mamade Sidiby cant be bought for peanuts' - and just let the argument/discussion go from there etc....

                                There's an easy enough angle.
