Gets 'done' a bit too easily round the outside to be a long-term right back for me. Maybe he'll be shifted to the center in a year or two.

    Quality player.

Agree with the going forward bit too. Also, he is very slow off the mark which is not good if you're playing full back. When he was square on with the opponents yesterday (mainly Andy Johnson), it was frightening how easy they got past him. At one point, Andy Johnson almost walked past him. But he is youg and should hopefully get better. Maybe he needs to take some beta blockers too to calm him his nerves because obviously Skrtel is hindering his career/
Ok. I'll say it. When Johnson makes a mistake it is all Skrtels fault.

I still want him tested at CB.

Anyone else reckon he has a bit of the Markus Babbel in the treble winning season about him? When he turns the pace on from full back and attacks the byline, he doesn't half remind me of him. Babbel could play, he was the best right back we've had in 20 years.

Injured Martin Kelly out of Liverpool against Manchester United

Liverpool's injury problems have increased before the Premier League visit of Manchester United on Sunday. Martin Kelly is expected to be out for four to five weeks with a torn hamstring.

The right-back pulled up during Liverpool's 3-1 defeat at West Ham United on Sunday and he underwent scans on Merseyside on Monday. Liverpool last night received confirmation of the full extent of the damage, and the England Under-21 defender is likely to be unavailable until the end of March.

"I knew straight away I had injured my hamstring," Kelly said. "I took Scott Parker on down the right and when I took my last touch I felt a pull in my hamstring and there was no way I could carry on. I will have the scan and hopefully it won't be too bad. I'm usually a quick healer and we have good medical staff at the club, so hopefully I will be back soon."

Raul Meireles, whose goals have been instrumental in Liverpool's recent rise under the caretaker manager Kenny Dalglish, was also taken off, having suffered a knee injury. He is doubtful for Sunday. His loss would be keenly felt against United, particularly as another midfielder, Steven Gerrard, only returned to the side at Upton Park after a three-week absence and looked short of match fitness.

Liverpool went into the West Ham game without Daniel Agger (leg), Sotirios Kyrgiakos (head), Fabio Aurelio (adductor muscle) and the record signing Andy Carroll, and all four may also miss the United match. Carroll has not played since damaging a thigh in December and while the centre-forward has stepped up training, he was not involved in the reserve game against Blackburn Rovers at Prenton Park on Monday, which was his last chance to gain match fitness before the visit of the league leaders.

Fabio has a reasonable history against utd. Is he fit yet?

That would really be not good, Wilson is not first team ready, at least not first team ready outside of Scotland.

Our defence is going to be shocking on Sunday. If i was neutral and didn't hate that shower so much, I'd be lumping on a manc win.

If Nani is anywhere near his best then I really fear the worst.

Using Wilson as LB would be equal to a suicide.

We could still keep GJ on left and play Carra on the right. Not ideal but could do the job.

GJ had a pretty good game against Bale so there is no reason not to think that he cannot do the same with Nani.

All depends on whether we've got enough CBs fit! I would assume that Kyrgiakos would be back, but how many would be confident of Skrtel and Soto pairing up against Rooney and Berbatov?
