As usual, Arn does have a very valid point hiding away in there, but manages to go way too far and too emphatic, in trying to make it, thus leaving it so hard to find, that it becomes almost negated

      Yes.

He left the players in a bad physical condition. Rafa and a lot of the players said that. They have pointed out many times how shocked they was how much more they had to train with Rafa than Mourinho.

He also totally ignored the young talents from their youth system. Leaving them in a very bad state. That is something that will take many years to repair.

He didn't need to worry about Inter this season knowing that he will be off.

Look at Chelsea, how many young talents from the youth system got a chance? I think the number is zero. How many at Inter? Maybe one, Santon.

That is maybe one player at his two latest clubs. Look at how he totally ignores one of the best young Spanish talents, Canales.

I doubt that he heard about long term thinking.

It is buy, buy, buy that counts for him.

What do that have to do with this season. Yes, he left them as European Champions but he also left a starting XI that almost never rotated. That means many very tired players. That means many of the best players very tired. Add a world cup to that.

Mourinho is a manager that rotate as little as possible because it is only the current season that counts. If some players can't cope then he always been able to buy himself out of that problem. Replacing a £20m player with another £20m player.

Look at how he moans now at Real. Long term thinking giving Canales a chance? No. Short term buy, buy, buy. Yes.

Not really sure how any team could be described as being 'in ruins' having just won the treble.

They had a lot of ageing players and had just reached and passed their peak, in winning the treble. The squad needed a bit of freshening up, for sure.

That isnt 'ruins' though - as i said Arn, you make good points but you go way too far, into the realms of hyperbole, when you're trying to validate your points - and this has the opposite effect.

Because it's looking likely that he will be unemployed around the time our current manager ends his six month contract and *Liverpool* look to recruit a new manager.

Dalglish gets us performing until the end of the season, Jose comes available for one time only, NESV have a tough decision to make.

i dont see NESV hiring him. They are looking at the long term and he isnt a long term solution.

i dont see there being a fit between him and them tbh.

he is a very good manager but i dont think he will be here.

Matt can be a bit touchy at times. But it's when he gets 'feely' that i'd start to worry
