Sky Sports presenter Andy Gray has been sacked after he made sexist remarks about a female assistant referee - and new evidence of "unacceptable behaviour" emerged.

Andy Gray and his colleague Richard keys were initially disciplined for their comments about match official Sian Massey before Saturday's Premier League match between Wolves and Liverpool.
But now Sky Sports have issued a statement saying Gray's contract had been terminated.
It continued: "The decision, which is effective immediately, was made in response to new evidence of unacceptable and offensive behaviour.
"The new evidence, relating to an off-air incident that took place in December 2010, came to light after Andy Gray had already been subjected to disciplinary action for his comments of January 22, 2011.
Barney Francis, managing director of Sky Sports, commented: "Andy Gray's contract has been terminated for unacceptable behaviour.
"After issuing a warning yesterday, we have no hesitation in taking this action after becoming aware of new information today."

Yep but it's the right decision re tonight I reckon. There are journos on Twitter posting about their trip to Gresty Road being aborted. WTF? So a load of them were going just to scrutinise her and now she's not running the line they're going home!

Damn good commentator that wont be easy to replace. He should never have been sacked over a joke either.

Hes been sacked for 3 things

1) his involvement in the Keys conversation over Massey (I think he wasnt as bad as Keys in this one)
2) his involvement with Andy Burton again over Massey and whilst they were discussing her looks the most damning point for me was Grays comments near the end of the footage on Sky News' website he says something like "A ****ing female linesman unbelievable"
3) the new footage from December were he asks a female colleague to tuck his shirt in (showing her the front of his shirt undone then laughing at her

For me its a combination of the 3 that has led to his sacking

Any of them could be sackable offences but all 3 together meant his position was untenable

For the record I think Keys should be sacked as well as his comments were ****ing disgraceful
