Not entirely a lot was required there though, if you're honestOriginally posted by Rudo View PostHe can go to **** and that's coming from someone that idolised him. Made me feel 10 years old again when Fowler was my hero and now he's gone to Chelsea of all ****in Clubs.
Hope he has a horrible time in London.

The best option for him would have been to leave January 2010. He didn't do that.Originally posted by Marsh View Posti think kenny put it nicely
the club is bigger than any one man.
lets move on and show some class
us showing a lack of class doesnt say anything about torres lack of class at timing.
and remember he could have gone in the summer which would have been worse
It would have been much worse if he had left last summer as you point out. Then we wouldn't been able to replace him. The money would have gone elsewhere.
Now we at least got a very good price for him and could use the money to replace him.
As long as we get a good price for a player then I don't care if he leaves. The club can then replace him and move on.Stop the cyberhate

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

**** him, hope it's a disaster, and he has to endure US winning trophies while he struggles, he talked the talk...made out he was different, loyal, was he ****, turns out he's just another football player, he deserves none of my respect, nor will he get it.
Liverpool moves on...Torres made no history with us, all he is....is a Chelsea player, and he may as well of been one all along for all i care now.Last edited by Vermilion; 31-01-11, 10:17 PM.

What makes you think he would have been replaced in January 2010?Originally posted by Arn View PostThe best option for him would have been to leave January 2010. He didn't do that.

Maybe with a £15m signing or something like that but nowhere near what we're seeing now.

Is the correct answer. And soOriginally posted by bigbill View PostWe hate you so much because we loved you so much...
**** off Torres you absolute cunt of a man. I hope your knob falls off, your Mrs ****s the entire Fulham team and that you regret this move the moment you walk out on to the sterile grass in Chelsea.

Thanks for what you did while you were here
You were a good player, you could have been a legend. The circumstances of your departure have ruined things
I think unfortunately like Michael Owen you will be remembered for all the wrong reasons and can imagine many fans will feel about you like Barca fans did about Figo 'We hate you so because we loved you so'. At the moment I just don't feel anything LFC moves on.
Sorry I can't wish him well while he's going to a rival club, but I don't wish him ill.Last edited by Exiled_red; 31-01-11, 10:25 PM.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

makes my skin crawlOriginally posted by -V- View PostTheres no doubt that most of my absolute favourite moments at Anfield over the past 3 and half years have been down to Torres. Some incredible goals and some electrifying moments just because of his magic.
But to see him in a Chelsea shirt will be sickening. Yuck'The tide is very much in our court now.'
