I will NEVER understand why some fans expect players to play the whole career for us. Almost every player leave sooner or later. Are all of them c*nts?

Rush left. Is he a c*nt? He of course came back but he still left. Xabi left. Is he a c*nt. The list could go on and on.

I would say that Xabi and Torres are two very similar transfers. Some of the fans that now say that they hate Torres at the same time still back Xabi. That is really very very weird.

The key point is that we get a good price when they leave because they will leave, almost all of them.

I then say thank you for the years they played for us and wish them good luck and then moves on supporting Liverpool FC and the players that play for us.

Nando leaving is one thing and that I am gutted about but the way he's gone about leaving is quite frankly disgraceful.

Gone to win things? Bollocks he's gone to improve that bank balance of his - makes little to no sense leaving how he has

the problem is we love them and build them up and pretend they are different from the players at other clubs who we laugh at.

          oh but the majority arent.

he left his home club to win things, in his head if he stays with us and wins nothing why should he have left athletico?

the thing that gets to me is that the whole situation really hurts.

we treated him like one of us, he was liverpool through and through and now he's chelseas. his behaviour was a disgrace to himself, the club and more importantly the fans.

the club turned him into the player he is today and the way this has played out will disappoint and hurt a lot of people.

he may win a trophy or two at chelsea but he'll never be worshipped like he was here. he will have to live with his decision to leave for the rest of his life.

Owen leaving was much much worse because we got peanuts for him. The key in all this is that we got paid a lot of money, £50m, and that is being invested in new players.

We can then move on and strengthen the squad.

Wonder if he has thought about how he'll be playing with the man that broke Xabi's ankle and tried to a second time.

He is an absolutely fantastic player and it has been wonderful to have him as one of ours. I am sad to see him go, and am gutted that he has gone to another English team, but I feel all of that reflects where the Club is at the moment.

Nando was given promises again and again and he accepted those promises again and again, even though previous ones had turned out to be false. Most of those were based around how new owners were the answer. Yet, when the transfer window opens all we deo is offer half the asking price for players. I despaired of us buying anyone, and I think Nando did too. In my view it is no coincidence that we upped our offer for Suarez only after Nando asked us to consider Chelsea's offer. From a keeping Nando point of view, the Club has handled this transfer window badly.

Just how many times do we expect a young man of Nado's talent to turn the other cheek when he is slapped in the face?

So I think we should accept that what will be will be. I hope he has an awful game next week against us, but generally I wish him all the best. Kenny is right though; no player is bigger than the Club and the best clubs have players that all want to play for them.

Great player but will never become a great with us.

I honestly don't wish/hope he does well at chelski, he has left us for a rival, for money and it with the worst possible timing. I hope he endures a miserable time there, with hardly any time on the pitch.

If as mentioned it was a foreign big club, then I could have understood, but now I will just hate him from this day on for the choice he have made.

the first time torres steps onto the pitch for a home game at stamford bridge what will be going through his head ?

maybe something along the lines of

Why is it so quite here ?
Why are all the fans waving cheap plastic flags?
Why are all of the fans dressed in suits?
                          Where's my buddy 'badge man'?
                          Where's stevie ?
Where is john terry ? he better not be at my hotel shagging my missus up the culo
Why do the stands smell of prawns ?
Why does most of the noise sound like it coming from the speakers ?

he'll regret it. I have no doubt of that.

Your wife wouldn't kiss you goodbye as she left with your mate either. **** analogy I know but it would then be levelled at him that it was more premeditated.

As for lacking class as a fan, so what!

He would never play for the white of Madrid.
I think he did have those feelings for the fans but i think he came to resent the club in the end.

I don't blame him for going. I would have hated to see him stay here and not win anything which may have been a possibility. He only gets one shot, he wants to play with the best and be the best and chelsea is a safer bet than us.

I wish it were not chelsea he was going to but at the end of the day its a good deal for us, he's got very questionable fitness levels and his form has been patchy at best for past 18 months. No one else would have paid that money - unless city totally crazy.
