They'd take midtable for sure but they've had an attacking, fluid way of playing all season and I wonder how those players would take to his hideously regimented style of play. If they had a pre-season to work on it then they'd have time to try and get used to it, but for him to go in in February and attempt to make his (skid)mark on the club then I'd have my doubts.

Are they that different a proposition to the Fulham squad he took over? I'm trying to remember how many players were left from before the Lawrie Sanchez era.

I think a lot of people forget that Roys teams do play some nice passing football. It's all in their own half and it isn't very progressive but with Brunt, Morrisson, Thomas and Dorrans he will have the type of wide player that would suit him. The question mark would be the lack of a strong, targetman style, forward.
